997 – 1029 – en-dash is used without spaces: 997–1029the gradual shriking of Buyid holdings – "shrinking"?- He was the eldest son of Fakhr al-Dawla. – Maybe this person could be briefly introduced (e.g., "amir from xxx–xxx"), which may help readers.
- whilst his mother Sayyida Shirin was the real ruler of the kingdom – the text reads as if the senior emir (e.g., Baha al-Dawla) would have been ruler?
- Sorry, I'm not sure I understand. Baha al-Dawla was the ruler of the branch of Baghdad/Iraq, and eventually Shiraz/Fars. He was the suzerain of Majd al-Dawla, who ruled the Ray branch. Have these sources been somehow used for the article? If not, better rename the section to "Bibliography"? If the latter is the case and it is more of a "further reading" list: Why is, for example, Curtis, Vesta Sarkhosh; Stewart, Sarah (2009). The Rise of Islam: The Idea of Iran Vol 4. I.B. Tauris. ISBN 978-1845116910. listed here but not in your other article Sayyida Shirin?

- That's all, very solid, very few issues. I like the "Background" section, providing enough information for the context. The most challenging for me as reader is to remember all these different, sometimes very similar names, but I guess this is difficult to avoid. --Jens Lallensack (talk) 20:56, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
