Editorializing Not Backed Up By Citation[edit]

"The chief television critic of The Hollywood Reporter, Daniel Fienberg, criticized actors playing any role that does not match their exact race, creed or national origin. He described the casting of Cooper, along with the British gentile Mulligan as a Costa Rican-Chilean converted Jew, as "a LOT of ethnic cosplay for one movie"." (Link)

This either needs further citation or to be rewritten. I don't believe the evidence provided backs up the writer's characterization of Fienberg's comments, particularly their use of "any" and "exact".

I suggest making it one sentence: "The chief television critic of The Hollywood Reporter, Daniel Fienberg, described the casting..." etc. Hardyharrr (talk) 04:44, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Based, as it is, on the cited Tweet, you're right. That Tweet says nothing of the sort claimed in this article; it's editorializing or synthesizing. Unless a more coherent and serious source of Fienberg's critique can be found, I suggest to remove both these sentences. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 11:53, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Where can we put this reference?[edit]
