Quad LP, Quad 8 Releases[edit]

Lynn Anderson had two albums that were indeed released in the special Quad LP and Quad 8 formats, "Rose Garden" and the Columbia "Greatest Hits", both originally released in these formats in 1973, some time after the album's releases on (still available) original formats. Confirmation can be found at the Quadraphonic popular releases website [1] The Quad recordings are not the same formats as traditional LP and 8 track tapes and had a list price of $6.98, two dollars above the traditional LP and $1.00 above the conventional 8 track.
