Lying[edit]

It has been documented that parents have the ability to tell if their children are lying by simply looking at their child's tongue. There will appear to be scribble that appears to be visabale by only the child's parent. Totaltwinkleberry2018 (talk) 18:23, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: Moved as originally proposed. 75% is certainly enough for a primary topic claim. (non-admin closure) Red Slash 20:03, 8 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

LyingLying (disambiguation) – I have a hard time even imagining a world where the act of telling a lie is not the overwhelming clear primary topic of the word "lying", unmodified by a preposition like "down" or "on something". Move and redirect to Lie. BD2412 T 03:00, 1 March 2020 (UTC)Relisted. – Ammarpad (talk) 05:40, 8 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. I agree with the nom's rationale completely. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:47, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Makes sense to me. Will(B) 14:07, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Let it lie. Lying (position) gets about 25% as many hits as Lie does, and the disambiguation page only a smattering of hits, so it doesn't seem that many people searching for a topic about lies does so by searching for "lying". If anything, Lying (position) is the PTOPIC. 85.238.91.68 (talk) 03:47, 6 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak oppose per 85.238.91.68 since its likely more people will use "Lying" to find the position rather than the falsehood, yes the falsehood might be more common in terms of PT#1 and PT#2 and in everyday speech but like with Boring most of the time people use nouns when searching in an encyclopedia.
