Electrolux
From the article: Vauxhall Motors opened a car plant in the town in 1905, along with an Electrolux household appliances plant, followed by other light engineering businesses
This, together with the surrounding sentances, gives the impression that an Electrolux plant was founded in the beginning of the 20th century. However, Electrolux wasn't, according to the wikipedia article, formed until 1910 and probably, as it isn't a british company, didn't open up a plant in Britain for some years.
