More references[edit]
The Oxford Companion to Chess suggests that Harold James Ruthven Murray's book A History of Chess should have more info on Lucena. Does anyone who has it like to expand the article? Quale 04:51, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Philidor's legacy[edit]
Is the book that refers to "Philidor's legacy" Lucena's or Salvios? François-André Danican Philidor was not born until 1726, so is it a different Philidor, or is the article wrong? Bubba73 (You talkin' to me?), 03:21, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
