I propose merging Lott into Lott (disambiguation) (or visaversa). A merger would not cause any article-size or weighting problems in Lott (disambiguation), to my understanding, and in fact there is already a People section in the disambguation page, so it's not clear where new topics should go. WikiNav for Lott indicates that last month, out of 168 views of "Lott", 16 went out to the hatnote. At less than 10%, it's moot whether this voids the assumption of primary topic for the anthroponymy list. WikiNav for Lott (disambiguation) in turn doesn't seem to show me anything right now, so we can't tell where they go from there. Page views of everything linked from Lott (disambigutaion) does have various popular entries, but few of their titles match "Lott" - some appear to be WP:PTM issues and some might be more appropriate split to LOTT (acronyms). In conclusion, if there was an issue with navigation with "Lott", it would presumably be more obvious from the stats, so we should defer to MOS:DABNAME and WP:NAMELIST. The people section on the disambiguation page was almost redundant, it linked to Senator Lott (disambiguation) which included one person missing from the list in Lott - this is fixed now. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 08:26, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
