Merger proposal[edit]

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
To not merge, as the current stucture meets policy; material has been moved to match the structure. Klbrain (talk) 11:10, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I propose merging Lott into Lott (disambiguation) (or visaversa). A merger would not cause any article-size or weighting problems in Lott (disambiguation), to my understanding, and in fact there is already a People section in the disambguation page, so it's not clear where new topics should go. • Oppose. See MOS:DABNAME: "For longer lists (of 12 or more entries) ... an anthroponymy list article can be created and linked from the disambiguation page". Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 18:15, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Might be worth renaming this into Lott (Surname) and then link. Save a lot of time. scope_creepTalk 19:35, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Not a bad idea, I like that. SiliconRed (he/him • talk) 01:29, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Scope creep and Siliconred: Perhaps Lott (name) would be better given the few first names there too. Klbrain (talk) 11:04, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
How about this: Move Lott -> Lott (name) and Lott (disambiguation) --> Lott, and add Lott (name) to Lott. SiliconRed (he/him • talk) 13:40, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
