Bot-generated content[edit]

The following was removed several months later with edit summary "Deleting userspace versions of inaccurate article stubs (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anybot's algae articles" & is now restored for clarity, but struck thru for (apparent) irrelevance.Jerzyt 21:57, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A computerised algorithm has generated a version of this page using data obtained from AlgaeBase. You may be able to incorporate elements into the current article. Alternatively, it may be appropriate to create a new page at Lola (alga). Anybot (contact operator) 16:06, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • User:Anybot/Lola was deleted 02:44, 4 July 2009; the bot acct has been blocked and unblocked several times, over the next few months, and has been blocked since June 2009. The deleted page had the incompatible combo of a Taxobox and a Rdr (to Rhizoclonium, which makes no mention of "Lola"), and was deleted 02:44, 4 July 2009.

Removed entries[edit]

There can be no Dab entry w/o an article that provides more than a table- or list-entry worth of info (on the topic that the Dab's title has as one of its senses), e.g.:

* Lola (footballer), a Clube Atlético Mineiro player from 1968
* Lola (1986 film), a 1986 film directed by Bigas Luna
* Lola (1914 film), a 1914 film
* Lola (2006 film), a 2006 film directed by Javier Rebollo
* "Lola Leave Your Light On" from Déjà Voodoo (album) by Gov't Mule
* "Lola", a song by The Coasters
* "Lola" from Wow by Superbus
* Lola (Chilean TV series), a Chilean TV series, a sitcom; adaptation of the Argentine show Lalola
* Lola (musical), a 1982 Off-Broadway musical with music by Claibe Richardson
*Hello Lola by Mound City Blue Blowers
*"Ich bin die fesche Lola", a German song performed by Marlene Dietrich in The Blue Angel
(altho the same article does a great job of describing her character, in another entry)

  • More of same, from fic-chars secn
*Lola, a character in the manga series One Piece
*Lola, a character in the animated TV series South Park
*Lola Montero, a character in Sartre's The Age of Reason
*Lola Mbola, a character of the Robotboy series
*Lola Sonner, from the books and cartoons Charlie and Lola
The articles (incl. Charlie and Lola (TV series)) talk on and on abt action but only perfunctorily identify, and don't describe, the characters.
*Lola, a photographer in Grim Fandango
* The showgirl portrayed in the Barry Manilow song "Copacabana"
I can't tell whether the article could be expanded to the point where it's worth consulting an encyclopedia (rather than a (non-Wikipedia) list of characters named "Lola" -- which is not what a Dab is or can be adapted to double as, and would be likely to be deleted on AfD if offered as List of characters named Lola) in order to get extra details that don't belong on a prose-free list.
