Value of this article[edit]

Why have this article, when there are articles Invasive species in Australia and Invasive species in New Zealand? The article presently has no content that could not be merged into those two articles, as there is no discussion of the region overall.-gadfium 21:05, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Being geographically isolated with differing ecology (in general) the two coutries should not be linked within the same article. I will split it in two. – Alan Liefting (talk) – 01:38, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
