Synthetic Diamond Manufacturers in Utah[edit]

There are at least a few synthetic diamond manufacturers in Utah (which has a long history in the synthetic diamond industry) who are not listed here. I'd rather not list any of these (since my present employer is one such manufacturer, it's a conflict of interest), but I think it's worth mentioning here that it could be added (by someone else). A few 1st-party sources: [1] [2] - a start on finding third party sources - some third party sources: [3] [4] [5] [6] and there are many manufacturers in many other places as well . . . --Openhatch (talk) 21:28, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Russian Brilliants are simulated diamonds.[edit]

Russian Brilliants are simulated, not synthetic. The probably shouldn't be listed here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JustinMcConnell (talkcontribs) 04:25, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

List criteria[edit]

This article included a large number of companies with no article supported only by WP:PRIMARY sources. This falls outside of WP:NOT in a handful of ways, and is a Wikipedia:Spam event horizon as well. I have gone through and double-checked to make sure that none of the companies have articles, but none did. The essay Wikipedia:Write the article first offers a good explanation why this list should be kept under tighter control. I would just assume keep this list to manufacturers with articles, but to prevent spam, at a bare minimum, a manufacturer should only be added if reliable, secondary sources verifying the existence of the company and confirm that it does, indeed manufacture diamonds can be included.
