Radio 101 means a lot of things[edit]

There is, as far a I know a russian radio called "Radio 101". Article "Radio 101", at this piont, reffers to a Maltese media. I live in Zagreb, Croatia, and, to my knowledge, there is no other radio station called "Radio 101" in whole Croatia.

I changed the link Radio 101 (just the first one) to show to "Radio 101 (Croatia)".

!! I am opening a discussion: Is there only one radio station in Croatia named "Radio 101", and should the article about it be called "Radio 101 (Croatia)"?

There is only one Radio 101 in Croatia. It broadcasts from Zagreb (capital of Croatia) and has a regional coverage (whole Zagreb county). It's also one of the most listened stations in Zagreb and in Croatia as well. Started broadcasting around 1984 on 101 MHz (hence the name). In 1996 the ruleing party tried to revoke it's license, but around 120 000 people protested on the main square in Zagreb and kept it on the air. It's mostly talk station emphasizing independent jorunalism and democratic values, though their wacky morning shows are most popular. Official web site (in Croatia only) www.radio101.hr or www.radio101.com
I don't know how Wikipeida determines who gets the name. Is it by importance/size or first came, first serve basis?

This is a page vandalism. I've been correcting it more than a few times now. I've located one offender to be user originating from 83.131.150.136. How can I prevent this?

As for the literal meaning of "Radio kokošja balega", it would mean "Radio chicken manure". Well, the intended audience is our equivalent of rednecks, but intention of this article is to simply list whatever is available, so, would the respected Mr. Vandal @ 83.131.150.136 please be so kind to live and let live and refrain from further activity :)
Sigh, Goran, I am afraid there is no way of avoiding this kind of vandalism short of blocking all edits on the page, which is, AFAIK, done only in extreme cases. --bonzi 14:09, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spam?[edit]

I think a list of radio stations in an area is a useful resource, and links to their respective web sites also comes handy (say, to look up the schedule). So, I would not consider those links to be spam. --bonzi 14:32, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I also found very useful. It is not spam for me. What informations we need about radio stations? I need information about: location, frequency and web link. Maybe something more.

I am also very interested how that lists about Radio and TV stations develop in the future.

I was nothing contributed to Wikipedia till now :) I think to add Petrinjski Radio and see how thats go. Btw. I am from Zagreb. Point (talk) 17:25, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
