Talk:List of object database management systems

This list is incomplete, as stated on the page itself. It is however als inconsistent. Wikipedia makes a (correct!) distinction, between object databases, object relational databases and relational databases. This list is advertised as object database management systems but contains members of all three groups. The first entry in the list is Cache, which is an object-relational database, not an object-database. Similarly, Oracle is listed, but has always been a relational database that has some object-relational capabilities. Is anyone keeping an eye on this? Are you joking? I really wanted to see a list of truly OODBMS, but see products like Oracle, Postgres, etc. They call themselves as post relational or object-relational DBMS (because it was in). But for sure, they are not native OO. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.146.47.150 (talk) 20:37, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
