I've semi-protected this page due to violations of WP:OWN from anonymous IP addresses. If a music arranger is notable enough to have a Wikipedia article, and an editor disputes that person's appropriateness for this list, then please discuss the matter in edit summaries or on this talk page. What we're discussing here are the "real" arrangers , those who can handle symphonic arrangements of the " Great American songbook " (Standards) for the likes of singers like T Bennett, F Sinatra, D Krall... Bradley Joseph, though being an arranger (like a lot of musicians), does NOT belong to that category, and it is almost shocking to see his name amongst those great legendary arrangers on the list. At least this is my opinion, but I know a lot of people share it with me. Cordially.

For one thing, the title of this list does not reflect those perceived restrictions. It is simply a list of music arrangers. Period. We're in the 21st century. There are plenty of modern day "real" arrangers that belong on this list. You've proven that it's all a matter of opinion then, subjective, and so if an editor views a "real" arranger to belong on this list, AND the person added is, as above, notable enough to have a Wikipedia article that reflects that fact, then so should it be. Personally, I've experienced the "real" symphonic arrangements of the legendary Bradley Joseph and there is no doubt in my mind that he belongs on this list.....and I know a lot of people share that with me as well. But I'm only trying to add one name. What about all the others that have been removed due to the opinion of one? I say they should all be re-listed. Their opinions are just as valid.
