The article on the Mekong river states: The Mekong (Thai: แม่น้ำโขง (Pronunciation)) is a river in Southeast Asia. It is the world's 12th-longest river[1] and the 7th-longest in Asia. Its estimated length is 4,350 km (2,703 mi),[1] and it drains an area of 795,000 km2 (307,000 sq mi), discharging 475 km3 (114 cu mi) of water annually.[2]

This article shows the river to be the third longest in Asia at 3050 mi. Which is correct?

4 June 2015: The article formerly listed the "Sai River" at #14, but while there are several rivers by that name (at least three in Asia), none of them comes close to the 2,650 km attributed to it in this article. The Vilyuy River, on the other hand, is 2,650 km long, is located in Asia (in Central Siberia), and previously was missing from this list. I assumed there was some kind of accidental replacement of the name "Vilyuy" with "Sai", so I changed "Sai" back to "Vilyuy".AnneTG (talk) 07:39, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
