August 2005[edit]

To be added:

  • Postal Inspection Service: From the offical webpage webpage, it seems that postal inspectors arte considered federal law enforcement agents and are headed by a chief postal inspector who is selected by the Postmaster-General. Since the USPS is a government owned corporation they should be listed under the Federal agencies list as an independent agency.
  • Office of Criminal Enforcement, Forensics and Training: The EPA is considered an independent federal agency (similar to NASA, CIA...etc), and thus does not belong to any department much like the USPS. -Loren 22:52, 9 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite in progress[edit]

I am doing a major rewrite and restructure of this article. For the time being, if you have any suggestions or corrections to make, please post them here so that I can properly include them as I go. Pee Tern (talk) 01:21, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Foreign Intelligence Gathering[edit]

Removed Australian Secret Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) as per striked rational below. On the appropriateness of removing ASIO notice, for example, MI6 or the U.S National Security Agency aren't on the list and they are of likeness to ASIO.

Under Australia the Australian Secret Intelligence Service (ASIS) is listed which is a foreign intelligence spying service. I would argue this is not a law enforcement agency. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrbeardy (talkcontribs) 11:49, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Customs of the People's Republic of China[edit]

Chinese customs are not called "People's customs", it should be the General Administration of Customs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.64.88.168 (talk) 15:03, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
