Untitled[edit]

Note: For some people the cuckoo clock has become synonymous of any clock with automaton whether a bird or figures, but that is a mistake. If a timepiece is not fitted and does not sound like the common cuckoo bird, then it is not a c. clock.

In fact, the timekeeper gets its name depending on the kind of bird whose call is imitated. For example, with a cockerel, owl, etc., then it will be a rooster clock and so on.
