What is a lake?[edit]

I don't know if the word "lake" is adequately defined to enable an editor to decide if a given body of water is or isn't one. In SA English we do not normally call the body of water behind a man made wall a lake. We tend to use the word "dam" for both the wall and the water. Example: "We went sailing on the Vaal Dam" does not mean the yacht crashed into the wall. Roger (talk) 11:50, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Added a few more[edit]

And added the coordinates for as far i could find. A few i don't know (haven't found yet). All of them are natural, allthough some are situated in the lagoons of rivers.
