Potential Page Deletion[edit]

I propose the deletion of this page based on the grounds of being far too general, being plagued with numerous factual errors and inconsistencies, and the lack of decent sources and citations. As for my first claim, the span of this list is too expansive to ever near completion or usability. Like on the similar invasive species lists, it would be far more logical, usable, and cohesive to break such a list by geographical location. Additionally, factual errors are commonplace, this issue is made worse by the lack of supporting citations. This issue is so widespread that I would hesitate to trust any of the information when editing the article rendering deletion a far more thorough option. The few citations that are included overwhelming come from only two or three sources or provide citations to unreliable articles such as an unsupportive tabloid article I deleted. In summary, not only is the information unreliable and poorly supported, the entire concept of this article seems to be far too broad in scope. I would suggest that the best approach regarding introduced species lists would be to create regional lists of all applicable introduced species, mammals being but a section, similar in execution to the similar invasive species lists ( Lists of Invasive Species ).
