Liz 10 from Doctor Who[edit]

The article says that all monarchs are referenced that way but I haven't seen any evidence of that fact and I've seen every episode of the revived series at least three times. I put a "Citation needed" on that bit because it seems more likely to me that it was simply her rather irreverent idiom. After all, she did also say, "I'm the bloody queen" and "Basically, I rule" so it's not like she always spoke in the most regal manner. So unless someone can find a reference that says that all monarchs were referred in that way during that time period then I'm going to remove that bit. --Kitsunegami (talk) 07:14, 26 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting the Article/Edit Request 6/28/15[edit]

I think that making this article becoming two separate articles would be a good idea. For example, a new article could talk about fictional monarchs of real nations such as the United Kingdom, France, and Mexico since the current article doesn't list all their appearances in Alternate history or Science fiction. Can we remove the cruft?[edit]

A bunch of this list is unsourced fancruft about modern popular novels almost certainly not covered in reliable secondary sources. The list was kept at AFD (nominated version), but of the five keep !votes one was duplicated (WTF!?), one was a "Keep per username." !vote, and username's comment asserted the noteworthiness of this topic based on the existence of Shakespeare's writings, and very little of this list consists of discussion of Shakespeare's writings or other such pre-modern "classics" likely to be covered in reliable secondary sources: almost all of it is unsourced plot info from modern novels, comics, films, etc., and until my edit just now the article didn't even mention The Tale of Genji.
