Notes[edit]

  • Some of the text is my translation from Lotte Burkhardt's copyleft book, in pdf form at https://www.bgbm.org/en/bgbm-press/index-eponymic-plant-names-extended-edition. - Dank (push to talk) 02:41, 13 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • In the list in the glossary section, the listed definitions are generally snippets taken word-for-word from our glossary of botanical terms. (Check the history of that page for attribution.) I'm only using snippets that are supported by the glossary in Plants of the World (see the citation). - Dank (push to talk) 02:41, 13 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Image licenses: all were found on Commons. 33 are "own work" (including public domain), 9 are Flickrbot, 1 is iNaturalist, 2 are old botanical illustrations, 2 are from www.forestryimages.org, 2 are from www.scienceimage.csiro.au. I've done the alt text. Johnboddie selected the images from Commons and put them in his sandbox, as usual. - Dank (push to talk) 20:46, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
