Photo column[edit]

I think the photo column here is unnecessary. Each one is a small picture of a building within the school. It is not relevant to the topic of festivals and only takes up space. The large number of pictures also makes it harder for some people to download the page. Therefore I am removing it. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 01:58, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Clean Up[edit]

This article had a lot of names without citations or with direct links to the primary source. I was WP:BOLD and removed all of the entries without a Wikipedia article. There was a few more general clean up, as seen in the diff. In general, I believe the minimum threshold of notability required for inclusion both for this article and List of cultural festivals in Indian colleges should be notable enough to have a Wikipedia article (aka notable enough to meet WP:GNG.

The section on IIITs is empty now so can be probably removed. Alternatively, the article could just be moved to List of cultural, technical and sports festivals in IITs and NITs
