Red links to pages that may never exist[edit]

Is there really any point having all these red linked articles, given that many of them may never exist? How many potential castles are there to go on a list of castles in the Marshall Islands, for example?
We could just remove the links to articles that don't exist, and add them again when necessary. --David Edgar (talk) 11:40, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
