Aren't magazines considered companies more so than organizations? ---Another Believer(Talk) 17:38, 21 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
So, if media companies would be added to the List of cannabis companies, should the List be divided by types of companies? -- The Hammer of Thor (talk) 20:42, 21 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have a strong opinion about how the list is organized, nor am I opposed to something like List of cannabis media, which might include magazines, etc. ---Another Believer(Talk) 20:51, 21 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah. This is all very confusing to me. Clearly companies are a type of organization. And organizations are usually incorporated as for-profit or nonprofit businesses. All are the same thing. -- The Hammer of Thor (talk) 03:04, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I like the idea of a list of cannabis media companies where Dagga Magazine, Sativa Magazine & Indica Magazine are included but then the cannabis companies can be listed by an infinite number of sub-categorized, eg. medical cannabis companies, cannabis edible companies, etc.--MickeyDangerez (talk) 19:33, 4 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Same question as above. Churches are businesses. But it would seem to me that cannabis religious organizations belong here. -- The Hammer of Thor (talk) 16:29, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Shouldn't this be "List of pro-cannabis organizations" or "List of cannabis advocacy organizations" or something like that? I would have thought a "cannabis organization" would be actually utilising cannabis in some way as its main function.--Pontificalibus (talk) 16:11, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
But not all of these orgs focus on cannabis rights. Some focus on research or medical benefits, etc. ---Another Believer(Talk) 19:21, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure, but I would have preferred to keep this list as simply List of cannabis organizations for the inclusion of anti-cannabis and anti-drug organizations as well. ---Another Believer(Talk) 21:45, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure all of these festivals/events should be included as "cannabis rights" organizations. Weed the People, for example, was a chance for business vendors to promote their products in a state where cannabis is legal. Perhaps we should create List of cannabis events for the next WP:420 collaboration...? ---Another Believer(Talk) 21:46, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
For the time being, anyway, I think the smoke-ins and protestivals belong here. -- The Hammer of Thor (talk) 03:27, 7 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
