College degrees[edit]

I would take exception to the idea that Junior Accountants don't need a college degree. Anyone called an "accountant" usually needs a college degree because they're a professional, rather than a paraprofessional or clerical worker.

If we're comparing this to the military, accountants are like officers, while non-accountants are like enlisted men. An AP clerk is like a private; an AP associate is like a private first class; an AP lead is like a corporal; an AP manager is like a a sergeant; a junior accountant is like an ensign; a staff accountant is like a 2nd lieutenant; an accounting supervisor is like a 1st lieutenant; an accounting manager is like a captain; an assistant controller is like a major; a controller is like a colonel; and a CFO is like a general. Bookkeeping[edit]

Why is the bookkeeping section just a link to the bookkeeping page? This should have a link to the main page as well as a synopsis similar to the other roles listed in this article. Bradleysballs (talk) 17:16, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
