Results from 2011 World Cup need adding to the table along with Autumn internationals and Six nations to date. Will try and get round to doing this myself in the next few days unless someone beats me to it. Ytic nam (talk) 11:33, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Chronological Order[edit]

I appreciate that editing the list to comply with Wikipedia's chronological order directive may seem like a good idea, but it makes it harder to edit and we now have a huge long verbatim list.

As such I have split it into decades, and removed the "Match Report" column from games before the advent of the internet.

Hopefully this will make it easier to read, and to edit. Mocyoung (talk) 23:33, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think there's any need to separate the list by decade. It's not particularly useful, and it's not that difficult to edit, just scroll right to the bottom. – PeeJay 23:44, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Well that's your opinion, and it was fine before you came along and "tidied" it up, but hey ho, your rules. Don't know why we bother looking after these pages if soccer fans are just going to come in and change everything on a whim. Power trippers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mocyoung (talkcontribs) 17:30, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ummmm, they're not my rules. WP:SALORDER applies to every article. What reason could there possibly be to ignore it? You complain that "we now have a huge long verbatim list" (not sure you know what verbatim means), but the list is long regardless of what order it's in. But then if you split the list up by decade, you lose all the functionality of the table's sortability. You should be thanking me for putting in all the effort it took to reorder the entire table. – PeeJay 20:33, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tidy[edit]

Colour rows of tables where "rowspan="X"" exists puts the wrong colour on the wrong row, and Cardiff Arms Park and National Stadium, Cardiff needs distinguishing. Mn1548 (talk) 20:09, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
