Governmental flags[edit]

The flag of the President of Romania, of the Prime Minister and of the Members of the Cabinet, have never been seen in use. There is no information available on these flags on any of the websites (Government or Presidency). How reliable are this images and their source(s)?

They are found in Album des Pavillions (2000). --Alex:Dan (talk) 23:24, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK.But still, as a Romanian, I have NEVER sreen any of those flags in use! And I doubt that the flags are intended for the private use of the officeholders. ES Vic (talk) 20:16, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think they are naval rank flags. If the president or the prime minister would be on that military ship, the flags above should be at hoist. Also, Presidential flags do float on official cars carying the president. But I must agree with you, I've never seen them used. More about Album des Pavillons (2000) and its sources here. --Alex:Dan (talk) 23:12, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Royal flags & Gov. flags[edit]

On the Romanian Wikipedia it says that the Standard of the King was slightly modified after 1930. Does anyo0ne have any idea on how it looked like between 1922 - 1930? I have a picture of the Royal Standard (in a dictionary from 1923) that presents the Standard of the King with the eagle on the coat of arms smaller. So it is not as described in the Romanian page.

Can anyone help?

Also, has anyone seen the flags of the President, Prime-minister, Cabinet member, Minister of Defense, and so on in use? that is anywhere else than in "Album des Pavillions (2000)"? I certanly haven't!

Unseen flags[edit]

Dear wikipedians, I have a question. Where on earth have you seen the flags listed here? I refer to the Flag of The President, of the Prime Minister, of the Minister of Natioanl Defense, the Pilot Esign, and of The Chairman of Councils of State and of Ministers of the Socialist Republic of Romania. Is there a law, decree, Government Decision, Military ruling and so on establishing these sympols? Or it is just a rich imagination of someone on the internet. I do admit that I saw on TV the Presidential flag, but that's it. could someone be more speciffic?
