Number of episodes[edit]

On this article, an ip has twice added that there are 40 episodes in the season, when the source clearly cites in the 2nd 3rd paragraph, there are 20. Please check that I am not missing something. I am now reverting their edit the second time. To the Ip: Please discuss reverting it again here.

On the number of episodes[edit]

The current article referenced as of 2/23/20 states in its 14th paragraph that there is set to be 40 episodes in total, with 20 more episodes ordered to add to the 20 already produced. This is part of an ongoing series on the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette titled "Tuned In", which the previous article referenced, stating 20 episodes, was also a part of. While said previous article is a reliable source and is currently not outdated, it should be listed in the article's overall reference section, not as Note 4 for Season 3's episode count. Please do not revert it back to the previous article. Any future concerns should be left on this talk page.

I see where it says that near the bottom of the article they are calling for 20 more episodes, but even simple adding like that could be viewed as OR. I am not as experienced with television articles though. Maybe @User:Purplewowies could help? Ghinga7 (talk) 20:48, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rob Owen, and subsequently the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, has been a reliable source since the TV show has premiered, and as far as I can tell, has also been approved by those who have worked on the show as well as the production companies involved in the making of it. In no way is it false, although some statements in the article can change (i.e., if a cast member on the show left). Similarly, Sinking Ship Entertainment, one of the aforementioned production companies, has also confirmed the 40-episode count, though it is not outright stated and is left ambiguous, hence why I don't wish to add it despite it coming from an official source. I won't change it if it is added, though.

Disregard last comment, just reread the mentioned policy and it specifically discludes simple addition. Carry on. P.S. Writing things like "don't revert this" and anything similar (whether in edit summaries or talk pages) is usually frowned upon unless a consensus has already been formed. Happy editing!
