Potential new entry in the legal section?[edit]

Hi. Just a potential suggestion for the legal section if this individual is deemed to be notable enough. I was thinking of the barrister Mozammel Hossain, a British Bangladeshi who is is one of the youngest barristers to have been appointed as Queen's Counsel. See this article from The Daily Star in Bangladesh: https://www.thedailystar.net/law-our-rights/news/barrister-mozammel-hossain-another-bangladeshi-born-qc-1690921 Worth including him? Thanks.

Unsourced entries[edit]

I have removed all unsourced entries from the list. In case anyone wants to reinstate them, supported by a reliable source, I have listed those entries that were removed below, as they appeared before I removed them. Cordless Larry (talk) 10:56, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article issues[edit]

There are several problems with this list.

  • Names shouldn't be bolded.
  • We need refs for ethnicity.
  • Common words shouldn't be linked, per WP:OVERLINK.
  • Academic titles etc. shouldn't be used.
  • Articles should be written in a neutral point of view.
  • Info about people should be restricted to a few words about their main occupation or what they are most famous for.

See, for example, List of British Jews. I tried to rewrite some of the entries according to the above, but was reverted. Christopher Connor (talk) 03:47, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with your comments. The list has been sigificantly expanded and improved recently, but we do need to stick by the points you make above. Cordless Larry (talk) 09:42, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Non-notable entries[edit]

  • Non-notable entries should be removed as WP:CSC states;

Red-linked entries are acceptable if the entry is verifiably a member of the listed group, and it is reasonable to expect an article could be forthcoming in the future. This standard prevents Wikipedia from becoming an indiscriminate list, and prevents individual lists from being too large to be useful to readers. Many of the best lists on Wikipedia reflect this type of editorial judgment. Tanbircdq (talk) 12:10, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Redundant/Duplicates[edit]

Shamima Begum & Sharmeena Begum entries under Terrorists are referring to the same person (Shamima Begum) and is part of the same case of the Bethnal Green trio. User:BMW_M5_LOVER (talkcontribs) 18:21, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

who?[edit]

who is the most richest british bangladeshi? Any opinion? 109.149.79.251 (talk) 15:30, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
