The Norwegian House[edit]

On 28 June Saddhiyama called for a citation on the matter of roof pitch and sod instead of thatch on the roof, as well as the information that it is not a real log house, just a frame house with fake logs on the façades. I have removed the cn template. It is not necessary to prove or substantiate the obvious. With regard to roofs, see the article sod roof and its equivalent in Norwegian. The information on the fake log walls is based on direct observation, and it will be verified by a closer study of any photograph of the Norwegian House at Liselund. If comparison is needed, see the article on log building in the Norwegian Wikipedia: Lafteverk. For further information, see the comprehensive description of this house in: Erichsen, John: Drømmen om Norge — Norske huse i Danmark gennem 250 år. Copenhagen, Christian Ejlers' Forlag, 1999.
