This article needs to be completely re-written - it includes: a summary of the project (OK), a summary of how to build a LFS system (not OK), and a list of software that make up LFS (not OK, Wikipedia is not a repository of links.) I would like someone who has had experience with LFS to come forward and write a proper article. Thanks everyone! Cam.turn (talk) 11:42, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the summary of how to build: I agree that this treads on how-to territory (which has it's own wikipedia sanctioned sister project, and I encourage anyone who wants to extend this as such to do so there). However, describing a process runs this danger. While this has proto-how-to elements which should be dealt with, ultimately, this isn't a proper how-to, in that it's glossing over a highly technical subject - at the end of reading it one is left only with the impression of subject (as would be the case in a description).
