Linton-on-Ouse: 'No decision' in controversial asylum centre plans

Anyone? 96.252.76.29 (talk) 14:30, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is already adequately covered, I feel (I wrote it, 14 April):

In April 2022, the government announced its intention to convert the camp into a reception, accommodation and processing centre for asylum seekers, as a way of defraying the £4.7m per day cost of hotels being used.[1]

Normally, things like planning applications are not included into Wikipedia as being WP:ROUTINE, but this was a major change of public interest. As Wikipedia is a general purpose encyclopedia, not a news organisation neither is it available as a lobby-portal, I don't feel it is necessary to announce that no decision has yet been made.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 00:13, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
