Untitled[edit]

She could be suffering from a form of depression or self-consciousness, which I'm all to familiar with. What a beautiful voice and woman in general.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.155.134.197 (talkcontribs) .

Hi there, well that's just rumours... the 'sad' or 'bitchy' image she had during Flowers especially was just a way to put more attention on Jenny's new role, which was totally the opposite. She even stated it on an interview (2005) where Jenny said that Malin likes being in that role and she loves playing the 'mysterious' girl. Comment was added by CrushNush

Anyone know if she is or was married?

Weird references[edit]

What is it with the references in the article? A lot of sentences are attributed to a reference called "Cornelius," (that appear both as footnote 1 and 4), that is a link to http://aceofbase.com/ , where I can find no mention to the information being "referenced". What am I doing wrong?

Also, what is the references "Ace of Base: Our Story. 1997"? Is it a book? Please use {{cite book}} and provide a ISBN code.

And what is "Karlsson, Lasse (1998), Bravo"? A magazine article? Use {{cite magazine}} and provide the publication's date, page numbers, etc..

Even more, we should never use Wikipedia as a source! The pov filled passage "where Linn's unhappy image is bizarrely hidden behind the booklet's blue line design" has a Wikipedia's article as a source. How do we source "unhappy"? --Abu badali (talk) 06:24, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The citations are correct, and WP:CITET specifically states "The use of Citation templates is not required by WP:CITE and is neither encouraged nor discouraged by any other Wikipedia citation guidelines. They may be used at the discretion of individual editors". Please do not demand the use of something which is entirely optional. Firsfron of Ronchester 09:17, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The point is not the templates themselves, but the information. What is "Ace of Base: Our Story. 1997"? A book? Then provide the ISBN. A webpage? Then provide the URL. What is that Bravo reference? If it's a magazine article, give the publication date so that anyone can verify that.
And all that sentences whose reference is simple a link to http://aceofbase.com/? I can see nothing backing up these sentences there! --Abu badali (talk) 16:13, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have already stated (twice) that when I return from vacation, I can source the Bravo reference further. I am on vacation and will not have the reference in my hand until August 9th. Please bear with me. Our Story is a documentary, and the correct CITET template has already been provided. The AceofBase.com site has changed a lot in the past ten years, and those pages no longer appear to be live. Internet Archive has cached some pages, but the IA site wasn't working well yesterday. Firsfron of Ronchester 18:33, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I hope you understand that sources must be verifiable. --Abu badali (talk) 19:10, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I do, my friend. :) Give me a little time. Firsfron of Ronchester 20:02, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm removing "Linn is an artistic and somewhat eccentric person" again. A "sourced" opinion is still an opinion, and thus, fails WP:NPOV. Please read WP:NPOV#Attributing_and_substantiating_biased_statements for understanding that. --Abu badali (talk) 14:44, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is someone still willing to work to fix the problems with the references? May I remove them? --Abu badali (talk) 19:16, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Linn speaks many languages: I've witnessed her speaking a damned fine danish, too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.54.28.138 (talk) 12:37, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Occupation.[edit]

She's listed as singer/songwriter. Is that her current career? Is she doing a solo act?
