On November 18, 2019 the Wall Street Journal reported the acquisition of Emergent Cold from hedge fund Elliott Management Corp. in a deal reportedly worth over $900 million in value. The transaction would increased Lineage’s global footprint by about 8%, to more than 1.7 billion cubic feet of capacity. Adding Emergent strengthened the Company’s leading port presence in the United States and signified its entry into the Australian, New Zealand, and Sri Lankan temperature-controlled logistics markets, building on Lineage’s existing presence in the Asia-Pacific region.  Not done - Thank you for your suggestion. I am declining this edit request because the proposed text is too promotional and does not adhere to Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising, marketing or public relations, but the purpose of your proposed text is clearly to win over prospective customers and investors. As such, it cannot be added to the article unless it is substantially rewritten. For instance, Wikipedia should not call a company the "most innovative" and corporate histories should consist of more than lists of acquisitions. Best, Altamel (talk) 02:26, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
