Notability?[edit]

This page is about a first version of an article that was later corrected. Let's say the BBC published an article where it said Armstrong's moon landing took place on 1999, not 1969. Later, the BBC would announce a correction saying "we accidentally slipped the '6'. Sorry about that." Would it be a good idea to create a Wikipedia article about the first version? I don't think so. From the Wikipedia article, it appears that the topic of the error was somewhat controversial and notable enough for the New York Times to write about the error itself. You're free to nominate the article for deletion at WP:AFD if you want to. I agree that if this IS a notable topic, that the Wikipedia article should provide more context to explain exactly why.
