As discussed in the AfD I have been moving material from this page to Libertarianism in the United Kingdom, with the long term plan of replacing this page by a redirect. Comments would be appreciated on this page. Jonathan A Jones (talk) 14:06, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I support this merge proposal. The two keep !votes in the latest AfD did not address the possibility of merging, and everyone else seemed to be in favour, so given the fact that the content is now duplicated, I think a redirect is appropriate. The redirect can always be broken if the party gains enough coverage for a decent non-stub standalone article. Skomorokh 14:16, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I 'support the merger, not least because following my initial deletion suggestion, I drew from the comments that merging would be the best move doktorb wordsdeeds 15:17, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I must admit that I cannot understand how the entry for a registered political party can be removed. Either wikipedia is a comprehensive encyclopedia of facts or it is just a reflection of the way people presently look at things. I have no problem with someone ensuring accuracy of the material in the entry (eg that it is small and new) but it exists and therefore it should have an entry. Are minor celebrities not allowed an entry? Are minor historical figures not 'notable' enough? No. This should be an encyclopedia of facts and knowledge not of notoriety or fame. The LPUK (and all registered political parties) should be allowed an entry.--Robnock (talk) 22:09, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
