Jim Lead (Slade)[edit]

I have erased many links to Slade bassist. For some reason, he was incorrectly credited as writer and producer of the original recording, which is definitely untrue as he was 14 in 1962. Jim Lea produced a cover version in the 80's for a slade album.Aldejerph (talk) 09:26, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps the confusion of similar names by someone in the past. I reverted your edit because the 1963 album is credited as being produced by Jim Lee, which I sourced. I'll go back to the article to see what other portions of the edit need to be put back for accuracy. Trackinfo (talk) 17:00, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well there are hundreds of other people nammed Jim Lea, other than Sléde bassist and after a quick search on the net, I do believe you're right. But maybe should the wikipage not credit George Stone, Josef Bonime and Fanny Mae Baldridge as the writers of the song. I believe this credit apply to a Benny Goodman eponymous song.Aldejerph (talk) 20:18, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
