Cost effectiveness of leaky dams[edit]

It would be useful to cite the sources that show that leaky dams (and other natural flood management) are lower cost based on the reduction of flood risk provided than conventional flood risk management schemes. Various references[1][2] suggest that leaky dams may not be able to reduce flood risk on large floods in large catchments, so despite being cheaper than conventional solutions may not solve the problem Tim P (talk) 10:38, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
