Cry room?[edit]

"The building had air conditioning, a cry room..."

Seems to be a separate room for parents and babies for when the babies cry. Nonreliable references: Mental Floss, reddit.com. Other theaters, such as the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills, California, have one. David Spector (talk) 16:41, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, having personal experience working at this theatre, there is a separate room connected to the lobby that has a view of the auditorium through a pane of glass. I will look to see if I can find a source about it in a local source. BOVINEBOY2008 17:17, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[The following assumes you're referring to the theater in California, which may not be true.] Fascinating. I understand that all the lounges used to be upstairs in the 1930s (probably when it was the Regina) and that a PA system brought the movie sound into the cry room. The prices at the Fine Arts seem very high to me, but I guess that Michael S. Hall and the backers have to try to get some of their millions of dollars in investment back. I think they are currently offering to set up backyard digital movies for people for around $1000 in addition to one movie a day shown at the theater.
