Detevtive or Sergant[edit]

Why is Fin still a Detective? He has pass the Sergant exam? --91.65.21.108 (talk) 11:15, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Passing the exam doesn't automatically mean promotion. There has to be an opening for a sergeant and the person has to accept the promotion. --AussieLegend () 14:46, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for this information...--91.64.188.116 (talk) 15:46, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Peter Stone[edit]

With Philip Winchester heading into his first full season, it is only fair his character gets the same full article treatment his predecessor Raul Esparza got for his portrayal of Rafael Barba. Time has come for when you click on Peter Stone, you no longer go the page for Chicago Justice.--68.192.236.111 (talk) 04:39, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

When you click on Peter Stone you go to an article about a person who dies in 2003. We don't create articles about fictional characters unless notability can be established. --AussieLegend () 06:50, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You just raised the STUPIDEST argument for NOT drafting a proper page. He was a main character on a series that was part of a franchise spun-off from this series. The character was also the son of a major character on the parent series that spun off THIS show. He was brought on after the offscreen death of said father. There quite frankly is ZERO reason to not create a proper page for Peter Stone. The trail If you need help, Benjamin Stone was the first assistant district attorney on the original series. More than 25 years later, Chicago Justice premiered featuring Stone's son Peter as the lead prosecutor, that show was cancelled and SVU producers had the idea of bringing Stone the younger following the decision made by Raul Esparza to end his role as Rafael Barba. Based on all this, how can you maintain this mindset especially considering Philip Winchester is right now filming his first full season of SVU?--68.192.236.111 (talk) 16:18, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
WP:N is not stupid. It's policy. --AussieLegend () 17:01, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is legion for not only refusing to provide detail as in the case here, but slashing & burning entire pages. There used to be full character pages connected to The Shield, the Strike Team, the top brass, patrol-they all had detailed pages, now the only character from that series with his own article is Vic Mackey. There also used to be full pages for episodes from the CSI Franchise that you also destroyed. You got a real bullshit policy at work If you craft these detailed pages only to delete them later on. Peter Stone deserves a full page every bit as Rafael Barba. 0nce again, Philip Winchester at this moment is filming his first full season. You people have no justification whatsoever.--68.192.236.111 (talk) 17:54, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Instead of moaning about it, why not draft an article and submit it for review? ----Dr.Margi 19:05, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
