Banter[edit]

"Evening Gown" sounds like it was recorded before a live audience. Who is the woman JLL is bantering with at the start of the song? Sylvain1972 17:09, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Well, I figured it was just Lewis having some fun with the recording crew and band. I have no idea who the woman is (I thought I saw the information somewhere though); however, since this was the first track cut for the album, perhaps once the tape started rolling and recorded this bit, they just let it play on and included the banter on the album. The audience sounds like a couple of people at most, so I don't think it was a live show. Cromag 18:48, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It was Phoebe Lewis as far as most fan's agree.Go to [www.topfreeforum.com/jerryleelewis] to discuss.
