history of Lang Lang river[edit]

My grandmother's family dug this river, it was dug by my great great great grandfather and his two sons, first by hand, then with a horse, it was originally one foot deep and two feet wide, my grandmother was Vera Wilde, they lived on what is now called Wilde's road between east Lang Lang and Heath Hill which is located around the start of the Lang Lang river.

The Wildes family were given 500 acres of land for digging the river but had to deforest as part of the conditions.

I'm not sure how to edit Wikipedia to have a history tab under Lang Lang river but I thought it would be nice to see if anyone else thinks this is good information worth sharing on its Wikipedia page. Benjamin.pyatt (talk) 09:45, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
