Saturation[edit]

"The lake water has a high salinity level of 66–80% and therefore is rich in invertebrates, zooplankton and benthos artemia. " This statement needs checking. Water is already saturated with salt at levels below 66%, no? "Therefore" the lake supports large populations of a limited range of invertebrates. --Wetman (talk) 01:31, 25 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

'Laguna' means "lake" and 'Hedionda' means "stinking" so wouldn't 'La Laguna Grande Hedionda' mean "The Large Stinking Lake" not "a spring of sulphur-tainted water near the lake"? It sounds like their travel brochure is trying to sanitize or beautify the name? Tiddy (talk) 03:40, 25 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
