in the 1950s i read a story that told how the old saying lady luck came to be. it was around the time that the first woman got the right to be on a jury. there was a trial of a man accused of murder. they gave his name but i was just a child when i read this and i dont remember what it was. when it came time to put the x in the box for guilty or not guily the woman juror made a mistake and put the x in the not guilty box. the man was found not guilty to everyones surprise and from then on people in this down called it lady luck. judeinvegas
