What does "restore womenhood" mean? I'm also confused by the meaning of "female version". Does that imply that the plant species has 2 different names, depending on whether the individual plant is male or female? Or that the plant has uses for women, that are analogous to the uses of Tongkat Ali by men? This article is kind of a mess, but I'm not familiar at all with the topic, to be able to help fix it. --Booch (talk) 21:31, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

- Just to quickly list some points in need of improvement:
- - The "female version" part. Why? Who the f* wrote that? Or is it how LP is commonly viewed in Malaysia, an 'equivalent' of tongkat ali? That's silly, but mention it then.
- - The *suspicious* lack of coverage on LP's extensive usage in labor or birthing process.
- - The fact that it's commonly brought by people returning from Hajj.
- - The lack of mention about its usage in its whole, dried form.

- - Lastly, but the most importantly, the lack of Indonesian sources. No Indonesian common name, despite it being very well known in Indonesia too? No elaboration on the 'indigenous Malaysian' part, from which kind of source is that factoid taken whether historical records or genetic analysis etc? No mention on the toxicity, controversy, and the myriad of researches on it? All of this issue would be fixed easily by adding Indonesian sources. (This was assuming the Malaysian populace have stopped using LP entirely, which is the reason an unanswered question from 2009 still applies to this day.
