Laurence Lewin[edit]

If "Laurence Lewin" is going to redirect to this page, maybe it should mention him? Excise (talk) 00:21, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Recent IP edits - 27/10/16[edit]

With regard to these edits, I've reverted them on the grounds that they do not improve the article, and remove much sourced content.

Looking into it a little further, I see that it's a corporate IP address is assigned to L Brands - hence there's a COI here as well. (So I've placed the appropriate template on their talk page.)

The IP editor is welcome to comment here on the changes, and we'll discuss them prior to insertion.

I invite the IP to suggest edits for the page - being a part of the organisation means they should have valid input, just not input they can make themselves. Chaheel Riens (talk) 15:43, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

La Senza[edit]

(relocated from my talk page)
Hello. I work for the La Senza home office. The information on this page is very out of date so I was attempting to edit. Are you able to revert back to the version I had edited? Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.72.211.241 (talk) 18:22, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
If you could be more specific about what you consider to be out of date, and include reliable sources to confirm this, we can update the page, sure. If you make your comments here on this talk page, other editors (not just myself) will be more than happy to go over them and make any changes that are warranted.
You've not really specified what needs changing - or more importantly, why the removed info needs to be taken out - such as the Theo Paphitis section. I'll agree that there doesn't seem to be anything on an American presences, but that doesn't mean that by adding it everything else should be removed. Request Edits[edit]

My name is Judith and I work for L Brands. I recognize that since I work for L Brands I have a clear conflict of interest tied to related articles and will utilize the talk pages to discuss comments regarding this article. I noticed there are a few errors on this article and want to flag for the community first for transparency, before I make any edits. I would like to make sure the article is up to date and reflects general consensus. Here are the edits for consideration:

1. La Senza Corporation is a Canadian fashion retailer based in Dorval, Quebec that sells lingerie and intimate apparel.

Change: Dorval, Quebec to Columbus, Ohio

2. Since its first store opened in 1990, the company has grown to include more than 300 stores in Canada.[3] A further 487 stores under the La Senza brand operate in 45 other countries worldwide via licensing, franchise, and cooperation agreements.[4]

Edit: Since its first store opened in 1990, the company has grown to include more than 120 stores in Canada and 300 stores in 30 countries worldwide.

3. Similar to Victoria's Secret, La Senza uses high profiled fashion models to endorse their product. Models such as Lauren Gold, Petra Němcová, Isabeli Fontana, Bianca Balti, Yamila Díaz, Doutzen Kroes, Daniela Pestova, Sophie Anderton, Rebecca Romijn, Caroline Winberg, Emma Heming, Jessica Stam, Maria Sokolovski, and Niclyn Rendall have been featured in an array of campaigns.[19] La Senza does not limit their advertising to high fashion models and often uses high-profile celebrities to endorse their brand. Previous celebrities to endorse the brand include Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly, Ex Hollyoaks actress, Gemma Atkinson, and English footballer Gary Lineker's wife and commercial print model, Danielle Lineker.[20]

Edit: Add Ginta Lapina to the list of models. Edited list would read: Ginta Lapina, Lauren Gold, Petra Němcová, Isabeli Fontana, Bianca Balti, Yamila Díaz, Doutzen Kroes, Daniela Pestova, Sophie Anderton, Rebecca Romijn, Caroline Winberg, Emma Heming, Jessica Stam, Maria Sokolovski, and Niclyn Rendall

Hi, it’s Judith again from L Brands. Since I haven’t heard any feedback on this (either supportive or constructive) I just wanted to come back to the talk pages to state that I made the proposed edits directly to the page. Just wanted to flag the edits again to maintain transparency and acknowledgment that I have a clear conflict of interest. JBrockman085 (talk) 01:43, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Judith. Thanks for the disclosure. There aren't many people actively editing this article, and I know almost nothing about the subject matter. I did coincidentally include the current store count, but it's now changed to reflect a peak (in January 2009) and decline (from then until now, September 2020). Another editor noted the current USA ownership, though I still notice many Canadians that enjoy the brand. I expect more editors to update this page in the future. --LABcrabs (talk) 07:21, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
