User:CorenSearchBot had a false positive. The lyrics are in the public domain and were likely copied to YouTube from the Spanish Wikipedia. Liam987(talk) 17:42, 27 March 2015 (UTC)
- Indeed, it seems likely that they are public domain. The music obviously is PD; however I don't immediately find, either on es.wp or elsewhere, any authoritative date for the words. Do you? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 22:18, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
- OK, this source says the words are by Rómulo E. Durón and were in use in Honduras until 1915. So definitely PD. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 22:25, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
Author of the lyrics[edit]
How could a man born in 1865 write the lyrics to an anthem "adopted in 1823"? -212.233.199.147 (talk) 16:00, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
