Reason for changing Catholic to Community[edit]
Wasn't the change from LaSalle Catholic Comprehensive High School to LaSalle Community Comprehensive High School done as part of the reorganization of school boards in the Province of Quebec rather than "to represent its diversity of students". There used to be separate Catholic and Protestant school board structures -- with both English and French schools. This was changed to a structure based on language -- with French school boards and English school boards.
