Pot Luck and Potluck[edit]

"Pot Luck" should redirect or include a link to "Potluck", as it is commonly used with that meaning, and I've never heard about the movie. -- 00:04, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

Thought it's the US title, The Spanish Apartment is far from being a partisan choice for the article name, since it's the English title that most resembles the original title (L'auberge espagnole, apart from the idiom, translates littrally to something around "the Spanish inn") and some other countries' titles (the Portuguese and Spanish titles also translate to "the Spanish inn", for instance). —Rotring 16:32, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Name The Spanish Apartment is fine, because it is also related to content of the film. But the "literal" translation wouldn't be the "The Spanisch inn", "auberge" is a broader concept, it means "accomodation". It can be an "inn", but also a private appartment. The actually the message of the film and I changed the side accordingly.
