Comment on the name of this article[edit]

As there are two municipalities on the island, the island name is by county rather than municipality. This is not ambigious since - at least in our very detailed disambiguation page - there is only one Kvaløya in Finmark. Other counties may have multiple island by the same name, hence the overall preference for municipality names. See also Kvaløya and Bjørnøya. gidonb (talk) 13:24, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
