dubious translations[edit]

Does anyone know if other scholars have taken a crack at these plaster fragments? I think I'm going to remove or improve this translation, but I'm backing it up here for now.

(1) ...lyhwh htmn wlʾšrth
(2) ...kl ʾšr yšʾl mʾš ḥnn wʾm pth wntn lh yhw[h]
(3) klbbh

You have not indicated a reason for removal. You also can't add your own translation unless you first publish it in a reliable source. We allow editor-translations of modern languages, but for ancient languages that is too far into WP:NOR territory. By all means find alternative published translations and compare them. The Kuntillet Arjud inscriptions are most likely in the Paleo-Hebrew script, not in Proto-Canaanite or Proto-Sinaitic. INFIYNJTE (talk) 23:10, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
